G7 Gaeity Multiplex, Bandra - A unique cinematic experience.
The G experience, thanks to my dear friend Nikunj Gupta.
Mumbais oldest multiplex. Busy on the outside. 7 screens, all different sizes, all showing different films. Details in hindi, on cards outside the ticket windows, slightly difficult to read. I happened to go on a sunday night when tickets cost Rs 300+ at the fancy places, we got 2 tickets for Rs 150 for Pirates: 4. Our show was at the smallest of the theatres, Glamour - about 40 odd seats. Walked in, and it looked like an old Home theatre. Very B grade, bollywood vibes. Took a while to get used to, but the crowd was surprisingly mixed, and as the show moved on, it seemed very practical to watch a good english film here.

The Circle
Today i realised where i had got my love for food, especially the eagerness to be experimental and try new things all the time. It wasn’t something new, she’d always want a little piece whenever we were eating a new flavour of chips, ice cream, pizza or chocolate. Today when she was offered Mars chocolate, like always she signaled with her hand by showing us a small gap between the tip of her index finger and thumb that she’d like some.
On tasting the soft chocolate, in a peaceful yet child-like tone she spoke, “achhi hai”. It made me laugh immediately, and I felt close to her. She seemed pleased that I had laughed with her and looked at me with a smile as I returned a bigger one.
